One of the most common, if not the most common, misconception in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation is the belief that the average Workers’ Compensation case is worth a small fortune. The reality is that Workers’ Compensation is designed to provide you with wages while you recover from your injury until you can return to work. Workers’ Compensation does not provide damages for pain and suffering and usually pays around 2/3 of your weekly wages until you return to work. This generally amounts to slightly less than what you made after taxes prior to their injury.
