Mindy Levin owned a successful workers’ compensation and personal injury firm for over 15 years before coming to Pearson Koutcher. She joined the firm in order to exclusively represent the rights of injured workers and associate herself with a more specialized legal practice.
She first represented employers and insurance companies—the defense side—for four years. Soon after that she began exclusively representing injured workers, which she has done for over 18 years. Clients appreciate this breadth of experience, as Mindy is able to look at a case from both sides, bringing valuable insight into how work injury claims are evaluated, defended, litigated, and settled.
In handling workplace injury claims, Mindy thoroughly enjoys getting to know not just her clients, but also their families. She is highly regarded for the relationships she develops, with clients typically staying in touch long after their case is resolved. While Mindy works with a range of clients, she has developed a niche within the Korean and Hispanic Philadelphia area communities and regularly works with an on-staff Spanish and on-call Korean interpreter.
The mother of three children (college and law school), Mindy prides herself on being a role model as a mother who has great accomplishment in her career. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Workers’ Compensation Section and the Women in the Profession Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association and active in the National Tay-Sachs Allied Diseases Association and the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition to spending time with her children, Mindy enjoys attending concerts, cultural, and social events, and working out at spinning and Pilates.
Mindy earned her B.A. in Business/Finance and Philosophy from Muhlenberg College and her J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.
